I have always been captivated by how themed entertainment spaces have been able to immerse the audience into another world. In my studies as an interior designer, I am learning the design fundamentals of a successful built environment and being able to tell a story through design. This includes digital and physical model makings of imagining a space. I hope to work throughout the design process from concept to creation using the theorical and technical skills I have learned.
Experience
By participating in projects and competitions through Drexel's Theme Park Engineering and Design club, I have gained valuable experience in learning attraction design. In these projects, I have created detailed storyboards and concept art for original attractions, using digital art tools to visualize exterior aesthetics, interior queues, and ride scenes. Collaborating closely with engineering teams, I problem-solved to merge storytelling with technical and schematic aspects under tight deadlines. I also managed project timelines and deliverables by organizing, formatting, and editing the final presentations.
